Yahoo Has IMAP And Works On iPhone

As I have written about Hotmail having IMAP (really just Microsoft Exchange’s ActiveSync), Google already lets you know that they have it, and now here are the instructions for Yahoo.
You should be able to use this on both the iPhone and Android phones.
Incoming Server – imap.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing Server – smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Incoming Port – 993 (requires SSL)
Outgoing Port – 465 (requires SSL)
Username: full email address (bill@yahoo.com)
Password: is the password you login to Yahoo! with
Thanks for the info on IMAP for us IPhone users with hotmail. My question is, I already had my hotmail set up so now I have hotmail & exchange in my mail app. I used my same hotmail address to set up exchange so should I delete the hotmail and leave only the exchange there? I went into settings and don’t see any outgoing or incoming servers for exchange. If I remove the hotmail and leave exchange what will happen?
You can remove the hotmail. you will not loose any data, but you might have to update the number of days on the exchange mail setting to be able to see all the emails that you are accustom to.
